I took my family to Terroni on Adelaide St on a Friday evening just after 5 pm. Plenty of seats available in this beautiful 19th century courthouse at that time, so the kitchen couldn't have been that busy yet. Service was top notch, but when we asked for water, the waitress asked "tap water?", a bit snooty I thought. When our main courses arrived, the seafood spaghetti entree was fairly spicy, which might have been mentioned when ordered, and the Saltimbocca (veal Scallopini folded over prosciutto and pecorino cheese) was raw inside. The waitress felt bad and perhaps embarassed about it. They offered a replacement dish, but the raw veal had turned off my appetite for food there.They didn't charge for it, big deal! They should have comped half the meal, or offered a gift certificate or something. Cosimo, shame on you. How the mighty have fallen. ..More Reviews
